“Oita University: 10 hundred million yen” General profit of the 2007 year

         The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology issues an official announcement on 21st that from four cooperated university system’s the situation of 2007 year settlement of accounts including 86 public schools, natural science research organization and so on can see that the total profit increased approximately 130 hundred million yen from the plan (about 930 hundred million yen) when compared with last year.

       The factor is the management delivery fee was cut down by government policy but in trust research’s profit was grown. On the contrary, the instructor’s personnel expenses decreased approximately 6,540 hundred million yen around 2 years continuously. In side of the Ministry of liberal arts, if the reduction continues, it links to a fall of education research function in middle and long period.

       Due to the general profit of other universities, the highest is Tokyo University that was around 613 hundred million yen. Hokkaido University was about 515 hundred million yen and also, Tohoku University was approximately 42 hundred million yen. Lastly, Oita University was about 10 hundred million yen.

Comment:    It is one of interesting and important news as the reader can know about university’s profit all around Japan by The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology. It had the primary factor that was cut down by government plan as well.
