I just want the land of smile back and I think is a good idea to bring the children as representatives for some adults that could help them to stop and listen the information….who’s going to get angry with these lovely kids, right?

Oita prefecture’s veterinary association has been enforcing a free birth control operation for female puppies (whom were left at the conveyance association) since the beginning of January at the local animal control bureau. Until March, an initial period of the program, there are already 17 cases operated at every bureau from all over the country.

According to the veterinary association, the rate people leave female puppies at the conveyance association is really low because of doing birth control operation takes high economic burden. When the birth control has not been done, more puppies will be born. Then, the number of dogs thrown away must be higher. “Dog owners’ moral is not enough. Actually, I wish to see dog owners having the full responsibility to take care of their dogs until the last” said Satou-san, an executive director.

Together with the promotion of this free operation, Oita government officials and volunteers will delicate their time, ideas, and power in a well cooperation, in order to instill dog owners about various preferable manners.

The conveyance will take place next time on April 22. Those who are interested please contact Oita prefecture’s veterinary association (TEL 097-555-9527).

Comment: This is such an event with a strongly good will. I cannot agree more!

石の上にも三年(Ishi no ue ni mo sannen)” is a Japanese idiom meaning “Make a great effort to continue whatever you are doing, so that someday the success will eventually come to you.”

On a cold stone, even though you sat for three years, it would never become warm. However, this idiom has been using frequently in order to explain and encourage people to try for a period of time, do not give in so soon after the beginning.

The reason is because this idiom emphasize that before you clearly understand yourself, know what you really want, realize if what you are doing is worth or not, etc., at least three-year time must be sacrificed.

Nowadays in Japan, young people who are not students anymore but still do not have any job are called ‘NEAT’, and are increasing in number. Despite that, actually human can go forward by collecting a lot of experiences. These mentioned three years are crucial for us to learn through following footsteps of predecessors.

In human’s memory, there is merely one lifetime to be recognized. And it is here, right now in your hands. Just do not give in, first try to give it a three-year effort instead!!

According to Tehran Mass Media broadcasted on April 13, the explosion caused by handmade bombs occurred at Shiah Islamic Institute located in the center of Shiraz city (southern Iran) during the usual meeting on April 12 at night. 12 people were reported died, whereas more than 200 people got injured.

Iran’s religious institute bomb is deemed as an extremely exceptional case. Although the criminal proclamation has not been announced yet, the assembly agreed there is a possibility that this was the chaos caused by other Islamic sects, especially the one called ‘Sunnites’, who strongly antagonizes Shiah sect because the government has approved it as the national religion.

Comment: It is very difficult as well as dangerous to talk about this issue. What I can do is just hoping they can create the mutual understanding soon, and then bring the co-existence about.

According to Hita City’s educational information center, the fact that ‘9 computers of Toubu Middle School and Tsue Middle School have been infected by virus computer’ was reported on April 11 without the confirmation about the outflow of personal information.

Now persons in charge of school computers from 44 schools (both elementary and middle) inside the area of Hita are being called.

The fact was firstly found on April 9 in the afternoon by an official, who looked after the security system of Toubu Middle School’s computers, that a public computer was being infected a virus called “Wooden Horse of Troy (Trojan Horse).”

After checking every computer of the school later, it revealed that 7 personal computers used for printing document were also infected the same virus.

When checking computers from other schools was operated, we knew that one more public computer of Tsue Middle School was being infected by another virus.

“I am really sorry for what happened. I want to clean up the viruses as soon as possible, and then strengthen the security system” said a superintendent of education.

Comment: This kind of situation can happen easily whenever users are unaware because viruses are looking forward to hacking to our computers. However, the interesting thing is that Japanese people seem really worried about the outflow of personal information, much more than Thai people. I think this is because there are more clever thieves who can make use of other people’s personal information in Japan.
